St George’s is a growing evangelical church situated towards the end of Bamford Street, Glascote, on the east side of the thriving town of Tamworth

What we believe

We believe in the three persons of the Trinity – God who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that God created the world, that his Son, Jesus, died and was raised again on the third day and that his death and resurrection offer all people the opportunity for forgiveness of their sins and eternal life in God’s presence. We believe that Jesus returned to Heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to live within all those who believe and have committed their lives to Jesus. One day Jesus will return and all people will be judged. We believe in the authority of the Bible.

Above all we believe in a God of love, justice and truth who longs to welcome us into a living relationship through Jesus Christ, made real in our lives by the Holy Spirit.
